This Small Business Saturday, November 29, 2025, the Brookside Shops are turning cozy, quirky, and delightfully festive with our Ugly Sweater Showcase! We’re inviting friends, families, neighbors, and holiday-season shoppers to celebrate with us by wearing their best (or worst) ugly, quirky and oddly fun holiday sweaters. Kickoff your 2025 Holidays in Brookside with the Holiday Season Opener November 13-16th

Kickoff the 2025 Holidays with your favorite small businesses and restaurants in the historic Brookside Shops Thursday, November 13th through Sunday, November 16th. The tradition continues, ushering in the holiday season with pop-ups, specials, treats and more all weekend long and a special visit from Santa, cookies, hot chocolate, a tree lighting, live music and more to kick it all off on Thursday from 5-6 pm, and a new Cookies, Cocoa and Craft Crawl Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm. It’s a great event and you’re sure to find gifts for yourself and everyone else special in the Brookside Shops this season.

Trick or Treat Street is back in Brookside Friday, October 31, 2025!

2025_Trick-or-Treat-Street_Friday_October_31_4-6pmYou'd be batty to miss out on candy and treats during the 2025 Brookside Trick-or-Treat Street event. Dress up your little witches, ghosts, goblins, pirates, princesses and superheroes and bring them to Brookside for two hours of family fun from 4 to 6 pm. It's a great way to start Halloween night off right! Wether you've been before or not, we hope you'll make Trick or Treat Street part of your annual tradition. .

Trick-or-Treat Street is held in the historic Brookside shops between Wornall and Main from 62nd Terrace to Meyer Boulevard. This annual event is made possible by the many Brookside shops that hand out treats, a team of volunteers that help children cross the streets, and the Brookside Business Association and CID.
